Methodology
Creatine normalization
DosePrice compares creatine monohydrate powder by total known price, EUR/kg, and EUR per 5g serving. Capsules, blends, gummies, and pre-workouts are excluded from default rankings.
Total known price equals product price plus the shipping assumption in the import row. EUR/kg is total known price divided by package grams, multiplied by 1,000. EUR/5g is total known price divided by package grams, multiplied by 5.
Rows with missing weight, invalid price, non-powder form, missing country availability, or non-creatine-monohydrate type are marked low confidence and hidden from ranking.
Magnesium normalization
DosePrice compares magnesium supplements by total known price, EUR/kg, and EUR per 100mg elemental magnesium, segmented by form (citrate, bisglycinate, oxide, etc.).
Elemental magnesium per serving is detected from the product label. When the label states elemental content directly (e.g., "providing 100mg elemental magnesium"), that value is used. When the label states only the compound weight (e.g., "Magnesium Citrate 400mg"), elemental content is computed using the form-specific conversion ratio (citrate = ~16% elemental).
EUR/100mg elemental is total known price divided by total elemental magnesium (per-unit elemental × total units), multiplied by 100.
Rows with missing weight, invalid price, unknown form, missing country availability, or unidentifiable elemental content are marked low confidence and hidden from ranking.
